In every woman’s life, comes a time, when she gets pregnant. That period is the most important part of her life. There are certain signs and symptoms of pregnancy, which are discussed below:
Missed period- Well, periods aren’t anything that misses, unless or until you are pregnant. So, if you have missed your periods, most probably you are pregnant.
Nausea – It is one of the most common symptoms of pregnancy. Nausea along with vomiting is the sure symptom that you are pregnant.
Tenderness in breasts - You start feeling tenderness in your breasts. But that is not all. You will also sometimes feel pain in the nipple and stiffness in breasts.
Swelling - Some call it growth of breast, whereas others call it a mere swelling. But in any case, if you get a bulge on your breasts, it indicates that you are expecting.
More than normal urination - Urinating lot more than normal has also been considered as a prominent sign of pregnancy by the experts.
Fatigue - Felling heaviness in the body and fatigue together has been considered a sign of pregnancy.
Changes in skin - During the entire period of pregnancy, there are lot of changes in skin. If we talk about the early skin changes, which can be used as symptoms, are stretch marks, linea negra, spider veins, and acne.
Backache - Lower back ache is a prominent symptom of pregnancy.
Growth of uterus - Don’t get scared when you notice any change in its shape and size. It is a normal sign of pregnancy.
Movement of the baby – Well, it isn’t anything that you can call a sign of pregnancy, but it is more an assurance of pregnancy. You will feel the movement of the baby in 18-24 weeks of pregnancy.
Headache - Well, it isn’t anything that every woman experiences during pregnancy, but most of the women do.
Specified food desires - In most of the cases, women crave for certain food item. That could be anything (science has limits!).
Other symptoms that aren’t that common yet are sings of pregnancy:
